When I started homeschooling, the thought of the costs involved was intimidating. I had a shopping cart full of supplies on Amazon, and the prices scared the living daylights out of me. However, by my second year of homeschooling, I realized it could be one of the most cost-effective educational paths. I came to the realization, that quality education doesn't have to be expensive. Here's how we cut costs:
Free Educational Resources
It wasn’t until the second year that I discovered the different free resources out there. Websites like Khan Academy, YouTube, and even PBS offer educational content at no cost. These resources allowed me to save more money than I ever expected, proving that a tight budget doesn’t have to restrict the quality of education provided.
